About time

Weird reasons for making this site.

It’s about time the personal website and the link circles make a comeback and I’m starting here. Because this is my site so it seems like the most obvious.
For too long we’ve put too much in the hands of Big Tech despite them proving time and again that they can’t be trusted with our data. Either it’s leaked or they sell it to third parties (which aren’t that fun parties) so now I grabbed the opportunity to make my own site.
This is probably not the final form of the website, either, there’s a certain allure in going all the way and make a site from scratch. It won’t have fancy functionality and probably won’t be good looking or work well on mobile devices but I have just decided that that’s part of the charm.

But for now this is how it looks, this is where I write and this is where you are.
We’ll take it from here.
